Due to the presence of COVID-19, I will be instituting new safety practices for patient/client handling and care. These procedures will be effective beginning as of 4/13/2020 and continuing indefinitely.
Eligibility for Care
As of June 22nd, 2020, Massachusetts has entered into “Phase 2 Step 2” of our reopening plan. This allows massage and bodywork to reopen with proper safety procedures in place.
Clients are asked to cancel if they personally have or have exposure to anyone with any flu like symptoms including but not limited to: Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
I reserve the right to cancel any session should a client demonstrate any of these symptoms.
Sanitization
All linens used during a session will be changed, washed, and sanitized prior to reuse.
Mask use
All clients/patients who are unvaccinated must be advised to wear a facial covering. It can be but is not limited to homemade cloth coverings, surgical mask, etc. I will continue to wear masks working with each client until further notice.
Office space
I use an air purifier (Coway airmega) in the office. Each client will be asked to wait until the appointment time starts to enter into the office to allow time to clean and sanitize the space.
Massage Therapist Requirements
In addition to wearing a mask, I wash my hands prior to and proceeding each session.
